The opportunity
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in Manila.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be

You will provide support on application Data needs and Data models.
You will do Data Collection and Integration, and collect data from various sources, including databases, APIs, external data providers, and streaming sources.
You will design and implement efficient data pipelines
You will manage data Storage and Management choosing appropriate database systems, optimizing data schemas, and ensuring data quality, integrity, scalability, and performance to handle large volumes of data.

To join our team you will need the following:

4-Year Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
Fluent in English.
At least 4 years experience in applying current information technology to specific business areas.
SQL database management. Experience with SQL DB permissions for read/write access, security users, admin accounts, etc.
PL/SQL and Oracle DB custom application experience
Experience with Distributed Database Architectures and Database links
Experience with Microsoft reporting/Macros
Basic Python skills

Skills & Qualifications

Good understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes
Fluent in SQL writing queries through Linq or other similar methods
Proficient in understanding query performance/indexing
AWS experience would be a plus.
Good communication skills
Ability to work autonomously.
The Associate must be capable of working semi-independently with specified objectives, through interaction with supervisors and stakeholders. Customer relationships should begin to develop through the delivery of stable working solutions and follow-up.
The associate must possess basic organizational, communication, and time management skills. Should have the ability to complete assignments on time and with minimal error.
Associate must participate as an active team member, and practice effective listening skills and effective collaboration skills.
The Associate must achieve all information technology objectives through the use of approved standards and guidelines. Completed work must be reviewed for conformance to standards, timeliness, and efficiency.
This position interacts with all levels of Information Technology associates and stakeholders. The position may also interact with external customers to exchange technical expectations or obtain follow-up on testing results.
