One of Drake International Philippines' partners, a family-friendly dental clinic is actively looking for an Dental Assistant.
The Dental Assistant is responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the business office, including: maintenance of the records of patients, scheduling of patients, inventory and order of dental supplies, and updating the daily and monthly report.
ü Key Responsibilities:
-Assists the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures which includes handling of instruments and materials to the dentist.
-Prepares the treatment room and tray set-up for dental procedures.
-Prepares dental materials and instruments for sterilization, organization and maintenance.
-Helps patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment.
-Assists in taking and developing radiographs (periapical, panoramic x-rays, photographs and fabricate cast [study model]) as directed by the dentist.
-Responsible for sterilizing and disinfecting the instruments, ensures that all dental equipment and work facilities are properly kept and maintained accordingly.
-Tracks record of patient’s information about ongoing procedure and preparing them for treatment.
-Acts as backup Front Desk Associate (FDA).
-Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Ability to excel in customer service skills
Proven experience as dental assistant
Excellent communication skills and exceptional organizational skills
Time management and multitasking abilities
Computer literacy in basic applications like email and Microsoft Office
