What You’ll Do
As our Director of Pharmacy Operations, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our innovative pharmacy chain. Your contributions will be critical to our success, and strong performance will lead to the opportunity to become a stockholder/part-owner.
From the start you will need to be prepared to be very hands-on as well as providing strategic guidance to the directors of the company in all things pharmacy-related, including but not limited to:

• Being responsible for 2 branches in Cavite to begin with: Trece Martires and Amadeo, with scope for this to extend to General Trias, Tanza and beyond.
• Managing all aspects of daily store operations, including customer service, medication dispensing, staff management, and ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical use. Working 8 hours a day, 6 days a week.
• Legal compliance.
• Establishing and maintaining high standards, developing procedures and policies to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Recruiting, hiring, and managing pharmacists and pharmacy assistants, ensuring their ongoing professional development through rigorous training.
• Leading your team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants by example.
• Keeping your finger on the pulse of the industry and competitors so that you can share updates regularly with the wider team.
• Identifying, establishing and maintaining relationships with colleges/universities with a view to establishing a graduate recruitment scheme.
• Providing strategic input into compensation packages to attract and retain the best pharmacists and pharmacy assistants.
• As we grow, taking a step back from day-to-day store management and transitioning to overseeing the operations of multiple branches across Cavite. Working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with options for a more flexible schedule of working hours.
• As we continue to grow, ultimately transitioning to a more strategic & administrative role that is mostly office-based / working-from-home but you still be visiting stores and/or other venues from time-to-time to check-up on your team and provide training. Working 6 hours a day, 4 days a week to a negotiated flexible schedule.
• Continually working to improve all aspects of store operations through feedback to the directors and franchisor.
• Ultimately work and grow towards becoming a stockholder of the company and getting involved with other projects across different business sectors. Working will be extremely flexible and based on outcomes rather than hours.

What You Possess

• A Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
• A valid PRC license and with a certificate of good standing.
• A strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and standards.
• A Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership position as a senior pharmacist, managing a store for one of the major retail pharmacy brands.
• Have knowledge, understanding and experience in sourcing suppliers.
• Exceptional understanding of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently in both English & Tagalog.
• Empathy, patience, and a commitment to patient care.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and customer-oriented environment.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems and technology.
• Familiarity with POS systems.

Other Requirements

• Residency in Trece Martires/General Trias/Tanza/Amadeo, Cavite is preferred, but relocation assistance is available.
• Prepared to travel to multiple branches across Cavite, and from time-to-time to the franchisor’s main branch/office in Manila.
• As we expand, be prepared to travel to future branches across provinces north of NCR such as Bulacan and south of NCR such as Laguna and Batangas.

Bonus Points:

• Possession of own vehicle and willing to drive it for work-related travel.
• Have established relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers that can be leveraged.
• Have experience running your own business.

Compensation
As we expand, we aim to provide a comprehensive compensation package, but to begin with, this is what we will provide:

• Up to P35,000 per month for the ideal candidate.
• Signing bonus of P15,000 (payable after 6 months of service).
• 13th month pay.
• 20 days paid time off.
• HMO (expected to commence by March 2025).
• Minimum one meal provided per in-store shift.
• Relocation assistance (3 months semi-furnished in a small 1 bedroom house with Internet access while you find your own place. Water and electricity consumption not included).
• Opportunities for professional development.
• Based on performance and company growth, you will have the opportunity to become a stockholder/partner (to be assessed after 24 months of service).
