Job Description:
The English Language Assessor will be responsible for evaluating tests and assessments of Japanese learners of English. The role requires an understanding of English language proficiency levels and assessment methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessment Evaluation:
-Evaluate written and spoken assessments of English proficiency for Japanese learners.
-Ensure assessments align with established criteria and standards.
2. Scoring and Feedback:
-Assign accurate scores based on established rubrics and guidelines.
3. Quality Assurance:
-Maintain consistency and reliability in assessment scoring.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
-Record assessment results accurately and maintain records.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field is a PLUS but NOT A MUST.
-Experience in teaching ESL or assessing English language proficiency is a PLUS but NOT A MUST.
-Certification in language assessment (e.g., TESOL, CELTA, TOEFL) is a plus but NOT A MUST.
-Fresh graduates or those with no related experience MAY apply.

Schedule:
8 hour shift (not including 1hr lunch break)
Day shift - 6AM to 3PM
Evening shift - 3PM - 12MN
Monday to Friday
