Health, Safety and Environment Officer - Support, SPX Express

- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
- Excellent knowledge in conducting risk assessment.
- Have knowledge in performing RCA (i.e., determine immediate causes of UA/UC, underlying factors of the condition and root cause analysis on the cause and effect to set applicable and reasonably practicable corrective action taken).
- In-depth knowledge to conduct incident investigation.
- Communicate and investigate possible accidents, complaints and determine if there has been a breach of health and safety law.
- Conduct OSH training/seminars (i.e., Mandatory 8-hours training, Defensive driving, Manual handling safety, ergonomics safety, etc.).
- Well versed in performing safety inspections/audits to detect all potential hazards in the workplaces and able report to superior officer and hub leads of all safety and health hazards that may endanger direct employees, subcontracting employees and its operations.
- Implementing and monitoring of all written safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to communicate and disseminate the latest safety best practices.
- Ad-hoc activities may be assigned by your immediate superior.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- At least 3 years of experience as a safety inspector/officer or similar role.
- A minimum of 80-hours safety training (i.e. BOSH, Mandatory SO3, HIRAC, First Aid – CPR/BLS Training, and LCM)
- OHSAS Lead Auditor Course Training or QMS or IMS Internal Auditor is an advantage.
- Proficient knowledge on Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel and Power point.
- Have extensive knowledge in warehousing and fleet management transport operations safety.
- Have basic knowledge in facility safety and environmental requirements.
- Problem solving decision making and results driven oriented.
- Able to exhibit the standards in one’s behaviour and conduct in the organization.
- Willing to do local travel and visit hubs.
- Willing to assign anywhere in the Philippines.
- Displays behaviour of trustworthiness.
