Human Resources Manager

Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, interviews, and candidate evaluations.
  • Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to promote a fair and inclusive workplace.
  • Oversee employee separation processes, including exit interviews and offboarding procedures.
  • Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Authorities:
  • Recommending approval of overtime, official business of Human Resource personnel
  • Sign request for check payment related to HR salary, last pay, vendors, etc. (PPRF)
  • Sign employment contract of daily paid employees
  • Approved and sign a certificate of employment, company identification
  • Make decisions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs within established guidelines and budgets.
  • Approve job offers, promotions, and salary adjustments within designated authority levels.
  • Recommend disciplinary actions, including warnings, suspensions, or terminations, to senior management.
  • Allocate resources and approve expenditures related to HR activities and initiatives.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to HR staff as appropriate.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations with labor regulatory agencies, if applicable.
Job Qualifications:
  • Graduate of AB/BS Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management, Political Science
  • With at least 5-10 years’ experience as an HR practitioner performing all Human Resources functions
  • Preferably Asst. Mgr/Manager specializes in Human Resources
  • Must have good management and leadership skills
  • Knowledgeable in Philippine labor laws
