1. Makes regular visit to the particular clinical area to make sure that the patients with particular infection receives an appropriate treatment in regard to the isolation precaution (MRSA, etc.), and the type of treatment that the patient has to receive.
2. Keeping file records for each case.
3. Make sure that the staffs are educated and updated with the protocols in relation to the infection control.
4. Ensuring compliance with hospital rules and policies.,
5. Oversee public health programs, including statistical analysis, healthcare planning, surveillance systems and public health improvement including proper waste disposal.
6. Updates his/her knowledge by participating in the clinical governance meeting.
7. May share his/her concern or worries to Epidemiologist/ Consultant Microbiologist in order to get an idea and for a possible solution.
8. Performs other tasks related to medical affairs which may be assigned by the Medical Director from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse with updated PRC License.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to be train and has passion on Infection Prevention and Control.
• With certificate of attendance in Training/Convention for Infection Prevention and Control conducted by Philippine Hospital Infection Control Nurses Association or Philippine Hospital Infection Control Society.
