INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL ENGINEER

  • Has strong knowledge in control system design and optimization in SCADA, VFD, PLC, DCS & PCS systems for manufacturing, industrial and water projects, including electrical power reticulation and motor controls, standby power generation, lightning protection, instrumentation and control narratives.
  • Ability to develop, design and check control system architecture, control panels, instruments and its layouts, specifications, data sheets and interfacing connection and termination diagrams to optimize process control, safety, and reliability.
  • Ability to develop, design and check sequence of operation.
  • Ability to develop, design and check cable routing.
  • Ability to prepare Instrument and I/O list.
  • Ability to review and comment on P&ID.
  • Ability to support in preparation and coordination of fee proposals, technical report writing, cost reporting and client liaison at project level.
  • Ability to support in preparation of authority submissions and construction phase services.
  • Ability to develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and design guidelines and best practices.
  • Ability to provide technical support for plant operation and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
  • Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to analyze system performance data and design modifications to optimize system performance.
  • Has excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Has ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in support of multiple projects with attention to detail. Plan, coordinate and execute tasks to meet project schedules.
  • Proficient in REVIT, Auto CAD, Auto Plant, and Navisworks Design Software platforms.
  • Certifications in Mechatronics NC and PICS technician certificate and LOPA an advantage.
  • A graduate of B.S. in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Instrument and Control Engineering.
