The Junior Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing general accounting functions, including preparing and analyzing financial reports. This role involves creating and maintaining financial databases, drafting financial statements for year-end audits, and performing closing activities during the financial book close process.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze the Operating Income Statement (OIS) and other financial reports, identifying and explaining variances.
• Manage Accounts Reconciliation Analysis (ARA) schedules and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and update financial databases.
• Assist in preparing draft financial statements for external audits to ensure statutory compliance.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or general accounting.
• Experience in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
• Preferred experience in external audits and the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
• Strong understanding of Philippine GAAP, PFRS, and automated financial systems like SAP.
