Job Description:
As a Mid-Backend Developer, you will be a key member of our development team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend services of our i Gaming platform. The ideal candidate is experienced in both Go (Golang) and Laravel frameworks, with a deep understanding of backend architecture, scalability, and security for online casino platforms. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, Dev Ops engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for our i Gaming platform using Go and Laravel.
• Implement and optimize backend architecture for performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Build and maintain microservices that power our i Gaming platform, focusing on low-latency, high-volume applications.
• Optimize and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across the backend services.
• Ensure proper integration of third-party services and APIs such as payment gateways, game providers, and analytics platforms.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in the team, promoting coding best practices and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops to ensure CI/CD pipelines are efficient, and deployments are smooth.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in backend technologies, especially within the i Gaming sector.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on Go (Golang) and/or PHP (Laravel).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and No SQL databases such as My SQL, Postgre SQL, and Mongo DB.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience with Web Socket and real-time communications
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and performance optimization.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with graph databases and message queues like Rabbit MQ, Kafka, or Redis.
• Knowledge of i Gaming platform development, including player account management, wallet services, and bonus systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Philippine i Gaming or casino industry regulations.
• Prior experience of real-time communications for live casino and/or betting applications will be considered a strong advantage.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
