Position Title: Paralegal (Part-time)
Qualifications:

• Must be a college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration or equivalent
• Currently enrolled Law student, Philippine Law degree holder (LLB or JD), Bar exam candidates are welcome to apply
• Work experience in a law firm or legal department of a company providing administrative and legal support to lawyers is a plus
• Paralegal certification from institutions that offer formal training is a plus
• Must have a high functioning laptop (at least i5 or Ryzen 5 processor, 16GB RAM or higher, 512GB SSD or higher) and high speed Internet connection (at least 100 mbps)
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• With organized and systematic working style
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills in both English, Cebuano, and Tagalog; can explain legal concepts and cases effectively to company leaders and external stakeholders

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Contract Management

• Perform review and drafting of all contracts, agreements, memoranda, deeds and forms
• Securing approval of approving authorities for the processing and execution of contracts
• Frequent updating of Contract Templates

Compliance

• Keep organization updated with all new legal and regulatory issuances relevant to the organization’s operations
• Help ensure transactions and activities of departments comply with regulatory and legal requirements

Litigation and Special Projects

• Prepare legal submissions and status reports
• Organize and keep record of all litigation files

Team Contribution

• Coordinate with external legal counsel on various legal matters
• Conduct legal research on healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the company’s compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Work Arrangement: Part-time work-from-home basis; face-to-face meetings only as needed
Work schedule:

• Part Time: 4 hours a day, 20 hours per week, anytime around 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM
