About Your New Role!
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Payroll Assistant to join our team at Growth Ops Asia. If you have a passion for precision, an eye for detail, and the ability to streamline complex processes, this role is for you.
Working as part of a dynamic team, you will take responsibility for:
- Managing employee data: Maintain accurate records of current and exiting employees in the payroll system, including roles, salaries, bank details, leave entitlements, and other relevant information.
- Processing payroll and statutory requirements: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
- Updating employee information: Make necessary updates to payroll records for changes such as pay increases, incentives, bonuses, and allowances.
- Handling final pay documentation: Prepare final pay documents for exiting employees, including certificates of employment, tax forms, and quitclaims. Coordinate with banks for final pay transactions.
- Administering compensation documentation: Process and issue salary slips, statements of earnings, and deductions through Orisoft.
- Supporting audit and compliance: Provide assistance with audit reports, make process improvement recommendations, and ensure adherence to compliance requirements. Conduct market research and trend analysis for compensation programs.
- Experience in payroll and compensation management:1 – 2 years of expertise in handling payroll systems and processing end-to-end payroll for multiple regions.
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to conduct market research, salary surveys, and trend analysis to inform compensation strategies.
- Attention to detail and accuracy: A meticulous approach to managing employee data and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to prepare reports, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and support audit processes.
- Process improvement mindset: Demonstrated capability to recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the compensation function.
