Qualifications:

• Graduate of Environmental Engineering or a related courses
• Diligent with great attention to detail.
• Must be accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO)
• Knowledge on potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills
• Problem-solving skills

Responsibilities, Skills & Attributes :

• Familiarity with Philippine Environmental Law and Regulations
• Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems
• Knowledgeable in facilitating solid waste disposal, hazardous waste including emergency response
• Develop and implement pollution control measures and best practices to minimize environmental impact and ensure sustainable operations.
• Recommend and oversee the implementation of pollution prevention and waste management initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of environmental monitoring data, permits, inspections, and corrective actions taken.
• Prepare and submit timely reports to regulatory agencies as required by law.
• Promote a culture of environmental responsibility and compliance throughout the organization.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for environmental incidents, such as spills, leaks, or hazardous material releases.
• Attend meetings and assembly for Pollution Control Officers which may from time to time becalled by the Authority;
• Handle other matters of environmental concerns as required
• Willing to be assigned in Mac Arthur, Leyte
