DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for inventory planning, materials handling, and production scheduling based on sales forecasts or market demand.
- Monitors raw material availability in coordination with the Purchasing Department.
- Oversees proper warehousing and inventory control of raw materials, finished goods, traded products, factory supplies, and spare parts.
- Ensures optimal utilization of warehouse facilities.
- Coordinates with the Purchasing and Interface Departments to manage the receipt, transfer, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods.
- Collaborates with the Marketing Department on sales forecast trends and performs necessary material and finished goods inventory planning.
- Plans production schedules and manages manufacturing activities through capacity planning.
- Analyzes the production plan, finished goods, raw material inventory levels, and sales forecasts.
- Develops and implements production schedules to set the sequence and lead times of plant operations, meeting delivery dates based on sales forecasts or customer orders, including production quantities and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, production scheduling, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Strong understanding of production planning and capacity management techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams .
