Job Description
Set up a variety of injection molds in various injection molding presses and also Blow molding machine. Set up secondary and auxiliary equipment. Completes setups that will produce molded parts in compliance with customer specifications. Responsible for maintaining and monitoring production manufacturing systems.
Responsibilities

Performs machine start-up, operation, shutdown, and changeover according to standard operating procedures.
Make sure all parameters from the cycle sheet are installed into the molding machine.
Diagnose and resolve equipment problems in the respective areas and machine assignments. Determine and implement corrective actions and evaluate effectiveness as appropriate.
Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including, but not limited to, set-up and tear-down troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
Ensure all machine guards and mold guards are in place to keep parts off the floor.
Make necessary in-process adjustments in mold settings; molding conditions and machine parameters to achieve KPI of production.
Maintain all set-up department equipment (conveyors, MSI, Tables, Static Eliminators, Automatic Counting/Packing Machine)
Involvement in continuous improvement projects and automation projects
Conduct necessary GMPS/7S in the machine, and auxiliary equipment in place using proper cleaning aids and materials prior to and after during set-up of molds and machine.
Responsible for supporting mold technicians in mounting and dismounting mold into the machines ensuring the safety of co-workers and other personnel during the conduct of the activity.
Generating documentation on molding runs that can be used to control traceability and ensure reproducibility
Drafting and performing mold validations together with the Process Technician.
Responsible for conducting process parameter adjustment when product quality problems are encountered, Record all adjustments on the parameter sheet.
Responsible for the smooth turnover of all information to the incoming shift. Endorsed any parameter adjustment done on the machine or mold
Perform initial shots and stabilization during mold setup. Ensure that output is in compliance with quality requirements in coordination with QC In-process prior to submission to QA for FAR
Responsible for optimization of standard molding parameters to attain KPI

Qualifications
Must be a graduate of Vocational / Technical course or college level
With a minimum work experience of 2-year in the plastic manufacturing industry

Experience in the maintenance and repair of injection molding and blow molding machines
Able to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic drawings
Computer Literate
Can work with extreme pressure and less supervision
With good interpersonal skills
