PRODUCTION ENGINEER
Responsibilities

• Ensure quality production output and meet customer requirements
• Improve the department’s performance
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues
• Initiate and follow through continuous improvement projects
• Drive cost reduction programs
• Collaborate with various production departments
• Implement the department’s procedures and policies
• Lead team members and staff
• Create weekly and monthly production reports

Requirements

• Candidate must be a graduate of any Engineering course, preferably with at least 5 years experience
• Strong leadership abilities
• Experienced in handling people in a manufacturing set-up
• Positive work attitude, trainable, flexible, hands on
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and can work effectively with minimal supervision
• Computer skills
• Knowledge in ISO, HACCP, FSMS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, an advantage
• Attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
