JOB SUMMARY:
Supervises all QC members. He/She has the authority to delegate tasks to individual member, approve working hours and resolve the payroll issues and other concerns. The duty of the supervisor is to oversee all QC members and analyze their performance and productivity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
'•Responsible in looking after his men that they reach the targeted production level in the stipulated time.

• Help in the smooth functioning of the day to day operations of the Quality Control processes.

• Implements the policies made by the upper level management and ensure it is being properly carried out thru verification and roving inspection.

• Conduct investigation, analysis and assessments on Internal and External quality issues that may help to stop the cause and flow out defect to customer.

• Initiates actions/ solutions to prevent recurrence of Internal and External quality, productivity and delivery issues

• Responsible in making action plan on how to meet the direction required by the upper management and make the members be guided on how to achieve set targets.

• Responsible in the assignment and designation of work to workers.

• Coordinates to other Supervisors of Production and other support group in order to ensure compliance to specific requirements such as deliveries.

• Ensure members are properly motivated, guided and necessary training needs are identified and the equivalent trainings are given to the members.

• Responsible in the timely reports regarding performance of employees, trainings as well as attendance and time keeping reports.

• Counsel team member by listening on the concerns and motivate to come up with solutions.

• Supports Customer Audit Compliance and Customer Specific Requirements submission.

• Ensure that Sections follow their defined process as per stated in their Control Plan, Working Guidelines, Work Instructions, Inspection and Test Standards and other Quality and Environmental set Standard Operating Procedures.

• Ensure 5S is being implemented, Conducts Safety checking and see necessary Infrastructure allotment is needed for improvements as well as checking of each section’s environmental management.

• Authorize to verify if Company Policies are being followed and not violated by all employees.

• Verification of the implementation and effectiveness of the corrective action submitted by audited sections.

• Responsible to stop the process whenever there is a quality problem and other criteria that might fall to non-conformance in customer requirements and ensures that the affected batch must be contained and shipment to the customer prevented.

• Performs periodic line check, audits, genba and must report the results to immediate superior.

• Performs other duties related to process as maybe assigned by superiors.

JOB SPECIFICATION:
•Graduate of four year course, Engineering graduate is an advantage.
•At least three (3) years supervisory experience and expertise in Quality Control and Quality Assurance acquired in the same manufacturing set-up.
