Resident Engineer (Nutanix)

Job description
We are looking for a skilled Resident Engineer with expertise in Nutanix and virtualization infrastructure to support our Day 2 operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our Nutanix environment, ensuring seamless operations and top-tier performance.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Nutanix and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong expertise in Nutanix environments and Day 2 operational support.
  • Proficiency in virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security principles in a virtualized environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Nutanix-related technical issues and support.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or requirements promptly.
  • Manage Day 2 operations for Nutanix infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective deployment and integration of Nutanix solutions.
  • Implement best practices for virtualization infrastructure management, focusing on efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct regular system health checks, capacity planning, and performance analysis.
  • Provide expert-level support for virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
  • Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures to enhance knowledge sharing and streamline operations.
  • Stay updated on Nutanix product releases and features to leverage new capabilities within the infrastructure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php130,000.00 per month
