- Develop, implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures for construction sites in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate construction site health and safety risks and hazards, and take corrective action as required.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to identify potential hazards and risks, and develop and implement plans to address these risks.
- Provide training and education to employees and subcontractors on health and safety policies, procedures and practices.
- Develop and maintain safety and emergency response plans and procedures specific to construction sites.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, and make recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Liaise with external health and safety regulatory agencies as required.
- Develop and maintain records and reports on health and safety performance and compliance for construction sites.
- Ensure that all employees and subcontractors are aware of their responsibilities regarding health and safety on construction sites.
- Provide support and advice to project managers and supervisors on health and safety matters.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in occupational health and safety management on construction sites.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to health and safety in the construction industry.
- Strong analytical skills to identify hazards and risks, and develop and implement corrective measures specific to construction sites.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, subcontractors, and external regulatory agencies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certification in occupational health and safety and/or construction safety is preferred.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- 13th month salary
