Senior Automation and Maintenance Engineer

Location: Calumpit - Bulacan
Role Type: Full-time

Reporting to: Technical Services Manager
Work Schedule: 5 day work week
As a Senior Automation and Maintenance Engineer, you will coordinate and execute the maintenance activities related to electrical, electronics and automation of factory equipment to support the company’s goal to increase equipment uptime.
Other responsibilities include:

Perform equipment automation and instrumentation systems troubleshooting.
Conducts regular inspections, emergency and planned maintenance, and repairs of equipment to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and safety.
Acts as champion for safety and housekeeping standards, ensuring that the monthly target index is met and audit action items are resolved in a timely manner.
Maintains accurate and complete record of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, equipment program back-up files and history, spare parts, and documentation of repairs and modifications.
Identifies opportunities and implements projects to improve equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and efficiency.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer or similar field)
At least five (5) years of working experience in the field of automation, control, and instrumentation.
Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human-Machine Interface (HMI), Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Programming and Commissioning, and Process Automation
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment functionality issues
Ability to operate maintenance power tools and test instruments
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams, etc.
Ability to work in MS Office / Google Suite environment
Interpersonal Relationship Skills to communicate, interact, and build connections with others effectively
Lesser Experience can be considered for the position of Maintenance Engineer
