Position Title: Team Lead - Dispatchers
Department: Logistics/Operations/Reporting
Location: BGC, Taguig, Philippines
Reports To: SDM/ASDM
Job Summary:
The Team Lead for Dispatchers will oversee the daily operations of a dispatch team, ensuring the efficient assignment and coordination of deliveries, transportation, or service tasks. This role involves managing dispatchers, ensuring timely execution of tasks, handling escalations, and optimizing workflow processes. The team lead is responsible for ensuring that the dispatch team delivers high-quality service and meets organizational performance targets.

This role involves managing dispatchers, ensuring timely execution of tasks, handling escalations, and optimizing workflow processes. The team lead is responsible for ensuring that the dispatch team delivers high-quality service and meets organizational performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of dispatchers to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Provide training and ongoing development opportunities for dispatchers.
- Schedule shifts, manage attendance, and ensure sufficient staffing during peak periods.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Dispatch Operations Management:
- Ensure timely and accurate assignment of tasks to drivers or field technicians.
- Monitor real-time operations, ensuring that dispatchers are prioritizing tasks based on urgency and customer needs.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., fleet management, customer service) to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues, including routing, timing, or personnel concerns.
- Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Analyze current dispatch processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce delays.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement best practices for dispatch operations.
- Maintain and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to dispatch efficiency, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Act as a point of contact for escalations from dispatchers, resolving departmental conflicts and coordinating solutions.
- Maintain clear and open communication with Technicians, dispatchers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely updates and communication to customers or clients regarding delays or issues.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on dispatch performance, incidents, and operational challenges.
- Ensure that all dispatch-related activities are documented in line with company policies.
- Track and report on key operational metrics, including on-time performance, delivery completion rates, and customer feedback.
- Education & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of team management experience.
- Minimum 3 year of US based customer experience.
- Good communication skills – Written and verbal.
- Experience with dispatch software systems (Connecwise Manage) and routing optimization tools. (Optional but recommended.)
- Skills:
- Proficient with MS excel and Power Point Presentation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in dispatch management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
