Job description
GENERAL FUNCTION:
Performs on-site technical support/service to customers during application of paints to ensure that the process of application is according to the coating specification and standards.

• Before the start of the project, check and review work specifications and orient customer/owner or contractor regarding the required surface preparation and application conditions.
• Conduct regular inspection or on-site periodic visit while the project is on-going to ensure that all surface preparation and paint application are done in proper manner and conform to paint specification.
• Coordinate any deficiencies that occurred during the paint application process to respective Team Leader in order to resolve the issue with the customer.
• Maintains coating diary record that indicates daily completion report of the work carried out.
• Check and compute the area where paints are to be applied
• Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines

RELATIONSHIPS/OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates and collaborates with the Department Heads and other personnel of the company for whatever needs that would require coordination and collaboration.
• Observes faithfully company policies and standard operating procedures, reporting properly with full sense of professionalism while doing assigned duties or other activities of the company.
• As a confidant of the company and its clients/customers, keeps in strict confidence all information and data coming to him/her in the course of his/her work or of which he/she has access.
• Build and maintain good working relationship with customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering Course or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
• Can effectively establish and maintain good working relationship with customers and co-employees.
• Independent-minded, adaptable and willing to travel/assigned for project assignment.
• Computer literate and knowledge in technical writing.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Wet Film Gauge, Dry Film Thickness Gauge, Whirling Hygrometer, Magnetic/Digital Temperature gauge, Paint Testing Equipment’s, Camera and etc.
