We are looking for a talented Word Press Developer who has experience maintaining and modifying Word Press for our 30+ high traffic websites with custom themes, plugins, and web services. Working Hours: 9pm to 6am PHT or 4pm to 1am PHT

What you'll do

• Maintain, develop, and support our collection of high-traffic websites
• Migrate sites from other platforms into our comprehensive Word Press environment
• Develop and maintain Word Press plugins that extend the functionality of our sites
• Customize and maintain Word Press themes
• Monitor our sites and services to meet uptime and performance goals
• Perform administrative maintenance of our Word Press instances
• Develop rich media ads and creatives
• Utilize your expertise as a web developer to propel the business forward

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience building applications and sites on the web
• Excellent understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Java Script
• Experience in building sites using Gutenberg blocks
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to read and write PHP
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Comfortable working with My SQL, importing and exporting data, and optimizing database queries
• Experience interacting with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON, XML)
• Experience maintaining, supporting, monitoring, and optimizing Word Press sites
• Experience developing Word Press plugins or contributing to Word Press core
• Experience developing or customizing Word Press themes
• Experience with search engine optimization
• Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
• Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
