The Youth Engagement Officer develops and implements sustainable youth engagement and involvement in programs and activities in the Philippine Red Cross
Youth Management and Monitoring

• Design strategies and guidelines for the conduct of Red Cross Youth activities
• Establish local and international partnerships
• Ensure compliance of the chapters in Red Cross Youth Procedures and Guidelines
• Design activities that are in line with youth engagement and retention
• Monitor and provide expert information to chapters related to RCY activities

Youth Engagement

• Collaborate with academic and child welfare institutions for the promotion of RCY programs
• Design capacity building activities for chapter technical staff for the implementation of youth programs
• Propose trainings, seminars and workshops
• Analyze the quantity and quality of Red Cross Youth volunteers

Human Resource Leadership

• Provide an advisory role to RCY Support Groups (National Youth Council and RCY Star Volunteers)
• Administer the conduct of RCY activities
• Manage the performance of Technical Assistance for Youth Engagement

Others

• Field visits and attendance to relevant RCY activities
• Analyze reports and liquidations of cash advances
• From time to time maybe assigned other work that is relevant to or in support to organizational objectives and goals
