Job Description
- Data Modeling: Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that accurately represent data structures within our central Data Platform.
- Data Integrity: Define constraints, relationships, and validation rules within data models to ensure consistent and reliable information.
- Documentation & Communication: Create clear, comprehensive documentation for data models, and effectively communicate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business teams to analyze requirements and design data models that meet the reporting needs of various stakeholders.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with enterprise data architects, product owners, and development teams to map raw data structures to designed models.
- ETL Process Management: Partner with data engineers to implement ETL processes, ensuring data is successfully loaded and verified to meet high data quality standards.
- KPI Alignment: Engage with business teams to define well-structured KPIs that align with organizational goals, adhering to the KPI glossary.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field (EQF/MQF Level 6 or equivalent).
- Experience: 5+ years in data engineering, analytics, or a related role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database architecture.
- Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and take ownership of projects.
- Languages: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
