About the role:
As an Ot C (Order to Cash) Accountant with a focus on Credit Control, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the credit and collections processes within the organization. An Accountant in Credit Control plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy cash flow for the organization while building and preserving positive relationships with customers. It's important for individuals in this role to be detail-oriented, communicative, and proactive in addressing potential issues in the credit control process
Your main scope of duties and responsibilities include:
- Payment Monitoring: Track and reconcile customer payments.
- Collections: Implement strategies for timely payments.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate customer interaction records.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with credit policies.
- Reporting: Generate reports on credit and collections metrics.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to address customer concerns.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service.

We expect you to have:
- Education: Degree in Accounting or Finance will be an asset
- Basic Skills: Understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Excel
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in data analysis.
- Organization: Ability to manage tasks efficiently and prioritize workload.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for teamwork.
- Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
