Project Resource Manager (Offshore) - Poland

ABOUT THE JOB
We are expanding our team with a Project Resource Manager to be based in our office in Szczecin. You will be responsible for all aspects of line management for Wind Turbine Technicians employed by GWS especially allocating them on various projects all around the world.
We are looking for a candidate that is self-motivating, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to line-manage individuals ideally with experience within the wind or oil/gas industry. This position is part of a European setup for Offshore Resource Management so travelling should be expected.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Defining and publishing manpower setup for projects
Ensuring most efficient utilization level for group of managed technicians
Running the recruitment process to select the profiled technicians
Communicating assignment and project information to Technicians
Line management of Technicians – maintaining regular contact with Technicians, including performance management, feedback, pay reviews and annual dialogues regarding development
Maintain individual development plan for technicians
Lead grievance and disciplinary actions in line with HR
Deal with timesheet issues in case of operational conflicts
Manage and authorise holiday requests for technicians
Approving expenses for Technicians (reconciliation of expenses like i. e. travel costs)
Conduct site visits

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Desirable Wind Industry background
Previous line management experience ideally within the wind or oil/gas industry
Man-planning skills and experience
Contractual/Legal understanding
Project understanding
Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels within the business
Good English skills (written and spoken)
Very good understanding of IT systems, including Excel
Flexible and able to work within a fast-paced environment
Ability to self-motivate and manage own workload
Excellent organisational, multitasking and prioritisation skills
International experiences in communicating and understanding cultural differences
Highly motivated, driven to deliver highest standard of service
Team player
Cost reconciliation experience
Recruitment experience will be an advantage
