Required. Recruiter to provide Records and Information Technician

The Records and Information Technician 3 is responsible for efficiently managing Westinghouse business records, thereby enhancing the quality and accessibility of information available to the project participants and to functional departments in a coordinated, comprehensive and cost-effective manner.
Your Day to Day:
- Input, review and/or verify all information entered in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to ensure completeness and correctness. Identify necessary actions to correct any incorrect data before archiving via EDMS.
- As needed, verify entries already submitted are correct and complete and take necessary action to correct any incorrect data already archived.
- Locate and retrieve information from various sources and provide information to requestor in correct format.
- Convert electronic document formats into the appropriate Westinghouse format to enable permanent long-term storage and retrieval per procedure.
- Proactively identify problems, discrepancies and process improvement opportunities as needed.
Who you are:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and tool utilities.
- Ability to perform data entry into EDMS.
- Basic understanding of record attributes.
- Basic knowledge of revision/version control.
- Basic knowledge of document types.
- Basic understanding of web-based technologies.
- Basic knowledge of query/search functions.
- Basic knowledge of records management security policies.
- Basic understanding of critical thinking skills to perform RIM activities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office suite
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in a team environment.
