Partner with the best
You'll work with our Networks Infrastructure & Engineering leadership to successful delivery aligned with key business goals. You will lead the cross-functional alignment of the entire program lifecycle. Your contribution will be critical to the success of the team and to Akamai's business
As a Program Manager II Technical, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating interdisciplinary programs encompassing Akamai's Cloud Network Infrastructure and Network Engineering. This involves fostering effective communication and maintaining meticulous documentation
• Managing and tracking the progress of various program components and their respective subtasks.
• Supporting and driving action items to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Engaging with key collaborators, effectively communicating progress and achievements.
• Utilizing visual tools to illustrate the dynamic nature of projects, showcasing milestones, timelines, and accomplishments to stakeholders.
• Maintaining and nurturing relationships with internal networks deployment and engineering teams. Serve as a pivotal internal resource within your program
• Developing successful partnerships with network, engineering and program stakeholders across the organization

Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:

• Have solid experience in managing multifaceted projects, coordinating across multiple teams. Network deployment, routing or infrastructure background is not obligatory.
• Have eagerness to engage in diverse, creative, and innovative projects
• Be eager to learn technical skills within networks deployment scope
• Be a good teamplayer and have and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Have concise verbal and written communication abilities
• Be experienced with Jira, Confluence and Smartsheetm but it's not obligatory
