The opportunity
As a BI Developer on our team, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment to create critical reports and tools. Team members are self-motivated and demonstrate flexibility to assist on a variety of tasks. Ideal candidates will have a strong financial background based on a combination of education, experience, or both. Competency with data analysis tools at a minimum; a background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences is a plus, as well as an ability to rapidly learn and apply new concepts.
How will you make an impact at Envision Pharma Group?

Develops reports using BI application.
Proficiently works with MS SQL Server or Postgre SQL, including the development and management of SQL scripts, views, and stored procedures.
Fluency with RDBMS concepts such hierarchical, relational and multidimensional database modeling concepts. In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and ETL (Extract, Transform, oad) framework.
Analyzes and understands various data models in depth; proactively define data structures additions (views, distribution methods, intermediate tables, multidimensional cubes) that would improve performance or add value.
Develops, distributes, and provides support for reports and or dashboards in a timely manner, prioritizing multiple requests and maintaining a support relationship with all users.
Manages and monitors scheduled execution of routine processes and reports, diagnosing and fixing any report related issues while maintaining excellent open communication internally and externally.
Works within established guidelines, standards and methodologies for creating BI solutions and documentation.
Conducts validation testing of all data exchanged, migrated, archived, imported, to and from the applications.
Maintains knowledge of industry standards, as well as, federal, state and local healthcare regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, HIPAA and IRB policies and procedures, to ensure all deliverables meet those standards.
Supports quarterly or ad-hoc audits.
Utilizes change management processes and techniques in an appropriate manner.
Collaborate and contribute as a team member: understand personal and team roles; contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.

Do you have what we are looking for?

CEFR English level B1 or greater required.
Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar discipline required. Bachelor's degree in the same or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of experience, consisting of five (5) plus years of same or similar work experience, may substitute for minimum education requirements.
Minimum of three (3) years of proven business analysis experience with work in a data analytics/data warehouse role and with business process re-engineering and architecture required. Solid SQL experience (SQL scripts, stored procedures, ETL, etc.). Experience developing reports/dashboards with any BI application, such as Power BI, Epic Cogito, Crystal Reports, Cognos, Tableau, Qlik, etc. required. Ability to take large data sets and summarize down to actionable levels, turning analysis into answers.
Excellent attention to detail, patience, and a positive, customer centric attitude.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with all customers, key stakeholders, and departmental colleagues.
Clear demonstrations of critical thinking, technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify the appropriate technological solutions for various reporting needs.
