Facilities Management Trainee

What will you do?
As a trainee, you will be able to develop some Soft and Hard Skills:
Soft Skills:
· Teamwork
· Communication
· Organization
· Attention to the details
Hard Skills:
· Support to events organization, involving planning, hiring catering services, booking meeting rooms and ensuring all requirements are met to fulfil the event agenda
· Support to welcome company’s VIP visits to Sodexo Business Services office in Matosinhos
· Support to welcome new colleagues, by participating in onboarding sessions
· Support to organize meeting rooms and assist with reservations and coffee breaks when requested
· Support to regular control of the office access, granting and revoking access permissions as needed, to employees, visitors, contractors, and suppliers.
· Ensure that the Office Rules are being complied with, and awareness to users when needed
· Support to Facility Management activities like overseeing regular office maintenance, contract management, procurement and purchasing
· Regular awareness of safety & security procedures in place
· Assist the Facility Manager with the implementation of new projects and security processes already in place
· Support handling internal ticket system to respond to incidents and user requests for office supplies or any other Facility Management related situation
· Support to stock management – consumables, office supplies, onboarding items, etc…
· Support to lockers and parking spaces assignment
· Reports to the Facilities Manager
What you'll need to succeed?
· High degree in Administration, Management, or another relevant course
· Knowledge on verbal and written English
· Previous experience working in a similar function
· A curious mindset, detail-oriented, professional attitude, and reliable person;
· Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.
What we have to offer you?
· Internship experience in a Services Shared Center with a well-defined trainee path.
· Curricular Internship
· Lunch allowance payment (8,32€ per day)
· Flexible schedule: opportunity to begin work anywhere from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and finish between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. after completing a full 8-hour shift.
· Possibility of participating in multicultural projects.
· SBS partnerships.
· Living space with water, coffee, tea, M&M, and fruit to enjoy during breaks.
· Participating in SBS activities.
· Access to a platform with more than 1000 training.
