Responsabilities and Activities:
- Current Operation Officer reports to the Deputy Flight Operations Manager. He is responsible to:
- Plan Current Operations under the scope of Avincis Aviation Portugal Flight Operations Department activities, namely:
- Arcrew Roster planning in close co-operation with ground operations assistant and ensure its compliance;
- Plan and submit for aproval the operations department personnel activities in close liason with human resources department, crew training department, ground operations and other relevant departments, regarding Hollidays, rest periods, training activities, maintenance flight activities and other operations related activities;
- Allocate aircrew to flight activities planned or emergent, assuring fully compliance with training requirements, flight time limitations and other relevant legislation and submit to the Deputy Flight Operations for approval;
- Cumunicate with aircrew the required details regarding their planned activities;
- Elaborate the yealy plan for the flight operations department activities;
- Co-operate with the Audits planned by the, Authority or Compliance Manager addressing all available planning data;
- Execute the required formal contacts with all external and internal agents, in due time;
- Ensure compliance of the safety policy, fostering safe practices and complying with thereporting and communication policy for Avincis Aviation Portugal.
- Identify all hazards and associated risks related to the approved planning activities and submit for aproval any mitigation actions deemed adequate
- Cooperate with the satandards Officer, base managers and duty crew in adminsitrative tasks regarding aircrew and aircraft documentation updates, verifification and compliance both on site and in IT related platforms
- Cooperate with human resources department, crew training department, ground operations departamente, IT and other relevant departments, in the administrative and planning activities required for new aircrew and other operations personnel.
- IT skils in regular productivity tools;
- High school degree (12º year), college degree preferable;
- Proactive atitude and problem solving skils;
- Able to cumply with short term deadlines;
- Good comunication skills;
- Able to work in a team environment;
- Experience in Aviation industry in simular duties preferable.
