Main responsabilities:

• As the aviation sector is highly regulated, safety and compliance are the highest priority. The Airworthiness Engineer is expected to be a role model of integrity and high ethical standards.
• Within the scope of activities approved under Part CAMO, Airworthiness Engineer is responsible for collaborating with the CAMO Manager, to guarantee the following functions:
• Develop, update and ensure Airworthiness Procedures and keep it’s review updated, in coordination with the Compliance Manager;
• Monitor the technological evolution of aircraft models/systems/components under AAP's responsibility, based on information produced by aeronautical authorities, manufacturers and competent operators.
• Ensure that maintenance is carried out with the correct and required calendar, flight time or other frequency and in accordance with the correct and approved standards and norms as specified in the planned maintenance program for the aircraft concerned and evaluate the effectiveness of the same program, changing it whenever they are not satisfactory.
• Promote the prompt introduction of updates, additions and amendments to the technical documentation provided for maintenance services.
• Carry out a systematic analysis of all technical information (such as Airworthiness Directives (AD's)), modifications, applicable repairs, changes to guides issued by manufacturers, among others), concerning the maintenance of the airworthiness condition of the aircraft under its responsibility, with a view to updating the relevant procedures;
• Ensure the functioning of the continuous control and analysis system of technical data on the operation of aircraft and equipment, promoting the execution of operations and actions determined by the results of this analysis, in order to ensure the integrity of the approved maintenance policy;
• Ensure the computer and physical archive of technical and airworthiness documentation, including:
• Technical publications and review management;
• Airworthiness documentation;
• Ensure the completion of technical logbooks;
• Ensure the execution of reports for submission to the Authorities;
• Control life times of aircraft components and other equipment;
• Select and qualify suppliers under Part 145;
• Data entry and verification of Airworthiness Management computer program records;
• Ensure the technical management of fleet reinforcements;
• Ensure the good condition of the entire archive.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:

• Relevant Engineering Degree - an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components;
• Possess solid computer skills in MSOffice, including MSWord, Excell tools.
• Good Knowledge of English Language (spoken and written).

Desirable

• Knowledge of Spanish.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
No previous experience is required, however I would be desirable previous experience in Airworthiness control activities of Aircraft / components Maintenance activity.
