As a Software Technical Writer, what are you going to do?
- Work closely with developers, technical managers and QA engineers and write clear and understandable documents explaining the software, architecture and code;
- Proofread and edit documentation to ensure consistency of language and style, as well as the correct application of document templates;
- Provide input on documentation design, templates and implementation;
- Produce screenshots, flowcharts, and other graphics;
- Attend and actively contribute to scrum team meetings;
- Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of Health, Safety & Environment and report any non-conformity detected in this area;
- Comply and assure compliance with the rules and procedures of Quality Management System and other Management Systems that the company may adopt;
- Ensure the confidentiality of the information available within the scope of the activity, as contractually defined.
- Degree in a Software Technical Course - Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar;
- 2-5 years of professional experience;
- Experience in writing code documentation - API documents, code reference guides and software architecture documents;
- Ability to explain complex concepts understandably and clearly;
- Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail;
- Write user, operator, installation and integration documents;
- Ability to write documentation to different audiences - users, system administrators, developers;
- Dita Open Toolkit knowledge;
- Image editing software;
- Knowledge of software system architecture;
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET platform: C#, .Net Core, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework;
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL Server), security, communication protocols, networks, etc.;
- Proficiency in English.
