The doctor/specialist is responsible for consulting with patients and determining skin ailments, prescribing medication, undertaking skin therapy treatment, performing non-intrusive surgery, and referring patients to other specialists if the skin condition does not fall under his/her medical skill set. Should display empathy, be a good listener, attentive to the concerns of patients, excellent communicator and skin health educator, and should be proficient with dermatological tools and machines for skin repair.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading the development, execution and communication of Zadie Clinic’s Vision-Mission and Objectives/Values.
Establishes and maintains professional standards for quality patient care; Provides outpatient and inpatient medical consultation in specialized areas of knowledge.
Having extensive experience in setting up cosmetic dermatology clinic including services and operational procedures would be an added advantage.
Performs and/or supervises patient treatments using machines.
Recommends diagnostic tests based on patient’s history and physical examination findings; Utilizing patients’ medical history as part of skin assessments.
Evaluates patients’ skin conditions by screening for disease; Discussing with patients the overall status of their skin health.
Prescribes medication for the treatment of skin conditions.
Performs non-invasive surgical procedures on skin.
Makes appropriate referrals to advanced specialist.
Having great skills and expertise in various dermatologic cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.
Acts in a positive and professional manner, displays empathy, complies with practice policies, regulations, and state laws on medical practice.
Provides direct patient-care in the clinical setting including dermatological diagnosis, facial related cure, skin diseases, hair and nail problems, etc.
Participates in the development of medical protocols, standard procedures, and management of patient-care-related activities
Promotes health education in conjunction with other health professionals.
Takes part in marketing events, writes medical articles as needed.
Collaborates with the Medical Director and other medical team members to initiate improvement in clinical operation and administration.
Executes other tasks assigned by the Executive Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably has five (5)+ years of clinical experience or practice
A medical degree from an accredited medical school with completed specialization in Dermatology
Must have experience in Aesthetic procedures (filler, Botox, PRP, laser, mesotherapy, etc.)
Must have extensive experience in cosmetic and aesthetic treatments with high patient satisfaction in the private sector
Ability to work in a multi-culture, multi-discipline environment.
REQUIRED LICENSE:
Licensed Physician, Specialist, Fellow, or Consultant as a Dermatologist – mandatory / essential
Active DHP License as a physician, an advantage
Certificates on sub-specialization in Dermatology (if any)
Eligibility requirements to apply for DHP license: Prometric Exam, Data Flow, original educational documents (attested), Good Standing Certificate, Certificates of Employment, Police Clearance from home country (attested), other documents required by DHP for licensing (Essential)
Valid and recognized CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) Course; or BLS/ILS Certification (Essential)
