The doctor/specialist must demonstrate an impeccable bedside manner and excellent interpersonal skills, possesses manual dexterity, is up to date with the latest treatment methods, medical tools and equipment. He/she must have extensive training in the specific field of study and undergoes continuous learning development to keep abreast on the trend and challenging emerging new cases.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leading the development, execution and communication of Zadie Clinic’s Vision-Mission and Objectives/Values.
Performs examinations, identify and diagnose the extent to which the gum disease has progressed then provides a sound treatment plan, including thoroughly explaining the procedures and treatment options to the patient.
Examines patients’ mouths to determine the cause of their periodontal disease and to identify any additional health issues that may exist.
Performs root surface debridement, oral inflammation treatment, scaling and root planing procedures to remove damaged gum tissue and gum disease, and encourage healing.
Performs surgical procedures such as bone grafts, flap surgery, and tooth extractions.
Examines patient gums and bones to determine viability for dental implant installation.
Installs, maintains, and repair dental implants in cases where natural teeth have been removed or are no longer viable.
Prescribes medications or performs surgery to treat specific conditions that have not responded to traditional treatments and educates the patients to help them maintain healthy gums and teeth.
Performs scaling and polishing, fluoride application, laser whitening, and extractions.
Makes a sound referral to other specialists for other required procedures beyond the scope of specialization.
Determines the extent of the insurance coverage for the required treatment and thoroughly discusses all options to the patient.
Able to persuade patient to complete the treatment plan so as not to progress to a more serious problem.
Operates x-rays, scanners, and other diagnostic equipment effectively to examine teeth and gums.
Participates in the development of medical protocols, standard procedures, and management of patient-care-related activities
Promotes health education in conjunction with other health professionals.
Takes part in marketing events, writes medical articles as needed.
Collaborates with the Medical Director and other medical team members to initiate improvement in clinical operation and administration.
Executes other tasks assigned by the Executive Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably has five (5)+ years of clinical experience or practice
A medical degree from an accredited medical school in Dentistry.
Must have extensive experience in cosmetic and aesthetic treatments with high patient satisfaction in the private sector
Ability to work in a multi-culture, multi-discipline environment
REQUIRED LICENSE:
Licensed Periodontist – mandatory / essential
Active DHP License, an advantage
Privilege Licenses (if any)
Eligibility requirements to apply for DHP license: Prometric Exam, Data Flow, original educational documents (attested), Good Standing Certificate, Certificates of Employment, Police Clearance from home country (attested), other documents required by DHP for licensing (Essential)
Valid and recognized CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) Course; or BLS/ILS Certification (Essential)
