Job Summary
Site Electrical Engineer/Design will possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, design practices, and project management skills. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from conceptual design to project execution and supervision.

Site Electrical Engineer/Design will possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, design practices, and project management skills. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from conceptual design to project execution and supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to)
- Develop conceptual design and preliminary design documents, which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of Electrical systems.
- Develop final design documents, including specification, calculations, sequences of operation, BOQ as well as the electrical design drawings and final construction documents.
- Select appropriate electrical equipment and materials.
- Manage and coordinate electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop the design criteria, which would define the requirements the systems would be required to deliver.
- Oversee and resolve the various design issues during all phases.
- Read design specifications and technical drawings
- Provide design input to CAD design team.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of electrical installations.
- Verify that installation work adheres to design specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect materials and equipment to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction.
- Enforce safety regulations and guidelines on construction sites.
- Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and electrical standards.
- Review design packages & contracts, schedule for completion & correction prior to implementation
- Supports the Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the electrical groups at site.
- Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
- Responsible for the safety of all electrical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, environmental standards
- B.E / M.E Electrical Engineer
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- UPDA Required
- Knowledge of Electrical software program
- Knowledge of codes related to design
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedure within the industry
- Proficient in electrical engineering software
- Strong understanding of electrical components and systems
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards
- Well versed in interpreting and executing electrical related drawings.
