Cost Control/ Commercial Control Engineer (Healthcare Sector Background)

- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an Internationally accredited University of any proposed Consultant staff.
- Minimum Twenty (20) years of experience in Post Contract Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, and Contract Administration in major Building construction projects, of which Ten (10) years involving major Healthcare Projects.
- Minimum Ten (10) years of experience with internationally renowned Consultancy, Project Management Firm or Corporate PMC/PMO.
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience with the Bidding Consultancy or on major HMC Projects.
- Strong Experience & Competent (to be clearly demonstrated in the offer) in use of Capital Construction Portfolio Programs & Project Management Software such as Oracle Enterprise Edition, Share Point, PMWeb, Primavera as well as latest edition of Windows , MS Word/Excel, Power Point, SAGE, and others.
- Strong knowledge & experience (to be clearly demonstrated in the offer) for Cost Estimate for Healthcare Specialties: Mortuary, Dialysis, Laboratory, Cryogenic Systems, Special Electrical & Mechanical System for OR, Pharmacy, Mortuary, Radiology, CSSD, Kitchen, all Hospital grade etc. as well as Medical Equipment, Laboratory Equipment especially for Molecular Lab Equipment.
- Capable of Developing, Implementing, and Maintaining Cost Controls, Payment Applications, review of the contractors Variation Orders and Claims on the Healthcare projects, and provide centralized cost data and reports (to be clearly demonstrated in the offer).
- Capable of managing Payment Applications including Cash flow in SAGE system and prepare reports (Payments Log for Contractors/Sub-Contractors/Site Supervision Consultants) for Senior Management.
- Capable of identifying risks and preparing risk schedules and risk mitigation plans. Assist Project Managers in preparation of the budget.
- Liaise with Finance Business Partner periodically to compare the actual cash paid vs. actual certified payment.
