Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Export Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the luxury furniture business and be adept at managing export activities, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth inventory operations. This role also includes responsibilities for PDD (Product Development Department) administration, making strong organizational and communication skills essential.
Job Responsibilities:
Export Operations:

• Manage and oversee all export-related activities, including documentation, shipping, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with international regulations and customs procedures.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Supplier Coordination:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delays.

Inventory Management:

• Perform inventory control, balancing stock levels to ensure availability without overstocking.
• Analyze inventory data, forecast demand, and develop strategies to optimize stock levels.
• Maintain detailed inventory records and reports, including movement, stock aging, and replenishment.

PDD Administration (Product Development Department):

• Organize and maintain product development spreadsheets, tracking new product launches, changes, and inventory needs.
• Assist in coordinating new product introductions, ensuring alignment with export logistics and supplier availability.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare detailed reports on export performance, inventory status, and supplier performance.
• Develop and maintain organized documentation and spreadsheets to support decision-making and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in export management, preferably within the luxury furniture industry.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping processes, and logistics.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet management and inventory control software (ERP/SAP knowledge is a plus).
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• A strong personality with the ability to lead, coordinate, and manage complex operations.
• Fluency in English is preferred, with a strong command of English for international communication.
