**Job Title:** Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Hygienist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced HSE Hygienist to join our food catering team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety and hygiene practices, specifically within the catering industry. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing hygiene standards, and promoting a culture of safety within our operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and serving areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Develop and implement food safety protocols and training programs for staff.
- Monitor food handling and storage practices to prevent contamination and ensure quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen and catering staff to enforce hygiene practices and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain documentation related to health and safety compliance, including incident reports and training records.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay updated on local health and safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
- Lead investigations into food safety incidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Assist in the preparation for inspections by local health authorities.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety role within the food catering industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and hygiene practices.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
