Overview: Responsibilities:

• Ensure and review design compliance related to Projects.
• Review and recommend upon various designs throughout the lifetime of a project.
• Apply international design standards across various projects.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation (constructability) in the design, contract development/bidding, and construction phases of projects.
• Confer with relevant Ashghal staff, etc. regarding possible changes to plans (variation, addendum, extension of time) and problem resolution.
• Reviews developed scale drawings to ensure that it is in line with overall project vision. Identifies critical issues and provides suggestions to overcoming these or recommends alternative plans to relevant Ashghal staff.
• For any in-house design projects creates designs and prepares drawings, plans, specifications, landscaping, and interior work including architectural renderings, materials to be used, perspectives and colour studies in compliance with architectural standards, codes, and regulations.
• Interfaces regularly with the respective senior Ashghal staff, etc. to provide subject matter input throughout the design and construction phases.
• Maintains logs and records of work performed; prepares periodic and special reports as required. Maintains accurate reports of contract work and other assigned activities, reviews progress, performance and completion reports, purchase requests, requisitions, and reports of claims.
