Project Manager - E & I - Oil & Gas

Experience, Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for determining the purpose of the project, the criteria and desired outcome and stakeholders’ expectations.
Responsible for creating a plan along with Planning Engineer showing project's risks, cost overruns, timelines and deviations
Responsible for determining along with Planning Engineer on expected dates of project milestones and the activities involved in meeting each task completion and leading team to succeed.
Responsible for facilitating project development and progress from initiation to completion.
Responsible and experienced in project planning, execution, collaboration and coordination with designated teams and delivers results within deadlines and budget constraints.
Responsible for oversight of team members, setting deadlines, designating assignments, and monitoring every stage of project progress.
Skilled in tracking progress, summarizing results, and communicating with management, clients, and other stakeholders.
Experienced in cross-departmental coordination and team building.
Experienced in project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project and identity critical paths and construct recover plans with planning engineer.
Responsible for conducting risk analysis to reduce unforeseen obstacles and costs.
Experienced in conducting periodic scope reviews, schedule, and cost reviews to identify variations and change work orders.
Responsible for providing weekly and monthly summarized project progress reports to departmental managers, clients, and other stakeholders identifying deviations, delays and challenges along with mitigation plans.
Responsible for following project safety guidelines and implementing safety plans to enhance safety at site.
Responsible to ensure completion of tasks and resolve issues that hinder completion
Responsible for ensuring site teams meet their “Daily Progress Targets” and report on challenges and mitigations.
Responsible to identify, plan mobilize manpower and resources along with Planning Engineer.
Responsible to plan team mobilization accordingly to area workload to maintain “Workload Balance” and eliminate idle manpower.
Oversee daily construction projects. Interpret drawings, plans and specifications and evaluate deviations from specified construction procedures.
Identify consequences from deviations and evaluate the effects of deviations on project budget and schedule.
Implement monitor tools to check progress and evaluate subordinates' performance.
Oversee the compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
Ensure construction comply with project documentation, standards, permits and regulation.

Skills:

Familiarity with project management programs and processes
Strong budget management to minimize project cost overruns
Ability to set and meet project deadlines while maintaining the highest standards
Excellent quality analysis and control
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and train teams, identify the right tasks for each team member, and delegate responsibilities.
Consistent conflict resolution skills
Multi-tasking capability to efficiently manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Ability to align with the company's vision and mission
Data analytical skills to analyze project goals, ongoing metrics, and final results
Documentation and reporting abilities
Time, resource, and organizational management
Risk analysis and mitigation, analyze problems, create innovative solutions, and make informed decisions

Education:

Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience as Project Manager with experience in handling Electrical and Instrumentation Projects in Oil and Gas industries.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/instrument engineering, MBA would be an added advantage.
Familiar with Industrial/International Codes and Standards.
Excellent negotiation skills and independently handling meeting agendas, MOMs.
UPDA Certified will be an added advantage.
