Job Overview:
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and healthcare services to healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the benefits of the company’s products to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively promote and sell the company’s pharmaceutical products and medical devices to healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase product benefits and features.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and industry trends.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly. Stay informed about product lines, industry developments, and competitor products to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff to ensure effective product utilization and customer satisfaction.
  • Gather feedback from clients and relay it to the product development team for potential improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies regarding medical sales and promotional activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and inventory management.
  • Participate in medical conferences, seminars, and trade shows to promote products and network with potential clients.
  • Build a professional network within the healthcare industry.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative selling medical consumable items to hospital and clinics.
  • Proven 5 years of experience as a Sales Representative or similar sales role.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of healthcare products is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
