Senior Penetration Tester – Doha, Qatar
We are looking for an experienced Senior Penetration Tester to join our cybersecurity team. This role is integral to safeguarding our systems and data by identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in penetration testing, a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth penetration tests on applications, networks, and systems to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports detailing your findings, including risk assessments and actionable remediation plans.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed efficiently and effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest cyber threats, security trends, and emerging technologies to ensure proactive defense strategies.
- Perform various security assessments, such as vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and risk evaluations.
- Design, implement, and refine testing methodologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Mentor junior penetration testers, sharing best practices and advanced techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Certifications like OSCP, CEH, CISSP are highly desirable).
- At least 5 years of hands-on penetration testing experience with a proven record of identifying and mitigating security risks.
- Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Wireshark.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cryptography, and application security.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-focused environment.
