Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse that stores and manages luxury furniture products. This includes managing the logistics of receiving, storing, and dispatching high-end furniture and associated materials, overseeing in-house carpentry, upholstery, and curtain-making departments, and ensuring a high standard of inventory accuracy. The Warehouse Manager will ensure that products are stored properly, orders are fulfilled on time, and operations run smoothly, in line with health and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management:
- Supervise and control all activities within the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of luxury furniture products.
- Coordinate with in-house carpentry, upholstery, and curtain-making teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the safe and efficient handling of products.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and stock levels of all products and raw materials.
- Implement regular stock audits and maintain precise stock records.
- Track and monitor the usage of materials for carpentry, upholstery, and curtain-making to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
- Lead a team of warehouse supervisors and staff, ensuring proper coordination between teams.
- Manage staffing requirements and plan work schedules to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide training and development to warehouse staff, including safety protocols.
- Coordinate the delivery of furniture items to customers or retail stores.
- Liaise with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders.
- Optimize the layout of the warehouse to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and delivery timelines.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in warehouse management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/SAP) is preferred.
- Understanding of carpentry, upholstery, and curtain-making processes is a plus.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Warehouse Managerial: 5 years (Required)
- Qatar driving license (Required)
