Your role:

• Develop, test, and deploy API Proxies on the Apigee platform to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with senior developers and architects to design API specifications and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with best practices for API security, versioning, and documentation.
• Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining technical documentation for all API solutions.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on new Apigee features and API development trends.

Your profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• API Development: Basic understanding of API design principles, RESTful architecture, and JSON/XML data formats.
• Apigee Platform: Knowledge of Apigee API Gateway and core concepts such as proxy development, policies, and analytics.
• Programming Languages: Familiarity with Java Script and Python (other relevant languages are a plus).
• Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Database Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SQL and/or No SQL databases for data integration within APIs.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, SAML, or JWT.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for deployment automation.
