Your role:

Develop, test, and deploy API Proxies on the Apigee platform to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with senior developers and architects to design API specifications and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with best practices for API security, versioning, and documentation.
Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Assist in maintaining technical documentation for all API solutions.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on new Apigee features and API development trends.

Your profile:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
API Development: Basic understanding of API design principles, RESTful architecture, and JSON/XML data formats.
Apigee Platform: Knowledge of Apigee API Gateway and core concepts such as proxy development, policies, and analytics.
Programming Languages: Familiarity with Java Script and Python (other relevant languages are a plus).
Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
Database Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SQL and/or No SQL databases for data integration within APIs.

Nice to have:

Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS) is a plus.
Basic understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, SAML, or JWT.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for deployment automation.
