What we’re looking for
- Lead the implementation of Company’s business Data Analytics Strategy in order to maximize benefits of data as a business asset and ensure the Governance frame work needed for an effective execution.
- Be responsible for the business Data Governance related to Company’s data management of goals, polices, organization, roles and responsibilities, processes, standards, legal and compliance alignment.
- Be accountable for organizing and optimizing an effective end to end company process of data collection, access, usage, protection, quality, and storage.
- Lead transversally the departments Data Analytics business teams in collaboration with IT Data Analytics team to define and implement ORO Roadmap of major projects sustaining the Data Analytics Strategy.
- Engage Company employees in business adoption of data analytics and data applications to harness data value and efficiency benefits.

E. Developing Company Data Analytics team skills
- Facilitate together with Data Analytics Board the design of innovative Enterprise Data strategies that will enable a consistent, trusted, and available data across the company
- Roll out an enterprise wide data governance framework (policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture). Facilitate and support deployment of Enterprise target operating model
- Boost profitability by efficient and automated company data management process
- Facilitate deployment of data quality standards to improve decisions, revenues and client satisfaction. Monitor and report on data governance business performance
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards, laws and regulations.
- Engager and educate stakeholders on data governance best practices
- Support the organization and management of internal governance bodies.
B. Roadmap management and Projects Delivery
- Manage with business and IT teams an enterprise data business roadmap
- Prioritize with business and IT functions of roadmap pipeline of transversal business requests (programs, projects, enhancements)
- Lead Transversal development of strategic projects with Transversal Data PM support.
C. Company business Data Architecture management
- Implement industry standards and best practices in the design and implementation of company business data architecture (e.g. e TOM, Orange Group, etc).
- Collaborate with business Data Architect and IT function to define and build company business data architecture.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories. Monitor and keep consistency via 1TTM process of data dictionaries top down (Orange Group and legal definitions) and transversal between departments.
- Build business requirements for transversal development projects towards target data architecture and test results with Business Data Architect support.
D. Transversal coordination role for Company Data Governance management / Activities
- Data Governance Lead has a Transversal coordination role for Company Data Governance implementation).
- Propose, follow-up and evaluate transversally Data Analytics objectives/o KR of departments
- Support Company Data Analytics team in achieving objectives with proper processes, procedures, tools usage and configuration, knowledge, reporting, communication, etc.
E. Developing Company Data Analytics team skills
- Put in place development and training to increase data analytics competence level by organizing adequate trainings that will motivate and provide a high level of job satisfaction
What you need to know/have
- Outstanding communication and collaborative skills and strong business acumen
- Business Experience with data access, creation and operation processes based on all the layers of Data & AI ecosystem, including Data Warehouse, Data Lake / Big Data, AI/ML and BI/Data Viz.
- Strong proven data business data architecture skills, design, implementation capabilities
- Experience in implementing/leading Data AI projects/programs in Telecom
- Strong vision for how Data AI can proactively drive digital transformation, maximize business value creation and improve operations efficiency, ultimately boosting company profitability.
- Proven track record in leading transversal of virtual data teams.
- Experience with developing data architectures to support analytics
- ML needs
- Skilled in SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Java)
- Consistently made culture choices that positively impact all business.
- Demonstrated project management skills
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or a related technical field; upper degree an advantage
- 7+ years of relevant data & AI work experience and 3+ hands-on management or project management experiences.
- Experience data & AI processes and governance and working on large scale data transformation, leveraging ML & AI capabilities to achieve business goals
- Demonstrated strength in architecting business information management systems, based on SQL, ETL/ ELT development, data warehousing, Big Data, AI and BI solutions
- Proven track record of sharing outcomes through written communication, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Business Experience working with Hyper Scaler Public Cloud solutions (Google Cloud preferred, AWS or Azure applicable as well)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex business and technology solutions to senior leadership, gain alignment, and drive progress
- Communication and leadership experience, with experience initiating and driving projects
