Financial Analyst - Commercial

New Key Responsibilities:
- Finance business partner to Commercial department (Commercial Excellence/Marketing/Sales) offering support to drive profitable growth with focus on Pricing/Promo investment
- Perform pre and post evaluation of Promo plans with focus on investment efficiency/ROI
- Monthly participation and active involvement in revenue reviews before submission
- Active participation in the month-end closings activities and quarterly and annual business planning process
- Responsible to assist the construction and controlling of the promo budget
- Provide meaningful analysis and reports for business decisions
- Highlight to the management business insights and report on financial performance
- Ensure regular communication with business partners in order to identify risks and opportunities within your area of responsibility with direct impact to P&L
- Perform financial forecasting regarding promo budget and revenue evolution
- Analyze past results, interpret variance analysis, identify trends, provide explanations versus different periods and make recommendations for improvements
- Work closely with the whole finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, Excel and Power BI dashboards
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
Secret ingredients:
- Over 3 years’ experience in Financial Analysis or External Audit
- Finance qualifications are a plus (ACCA/CIMA etc.)
- Highly analytical – ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and see interconnections with business actions
- P&L, understanding, balance sheet and FCF is a plus
- MS Word/Excel/Power Point, SAP User, while Power BI is an advantage
- Excellent English command
- Ability to think outside the box, challenge process and rationale
- Ability to set and manage deadlines in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to make financial information “user friendly” to non-financial end users
