Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Junior Accountant to join our financial team and support day-to-day accounting functions. In this role, you will help maintain accurate financial records by recording invoices, processing bank statements, and reconciling accounts. You will manage details for travel orders, including daily allowances, and ensure these are accurately recorded. Additionally, you'll review employee reimbursement forms and assist with month-end reconciliation tasks, including cross-checking cost centers and translating fiscal statements when needed.
Our job opening for “Junior Accountant” in Romania is a part-time, office-based position, in Cluj-Napoca.

As a Junior Accountant you will:

• Record invoices in the accounting software;
• Process bank statements to ensure timely booking and reconciliation.
• Record travel details and daily allowances in the accounting system based on delegation orders.
• Review and record employee reimbursement forms.
• Assist with month-end reconciliation tasks;
• Translate fiscal statements for reporting purposes as needed;
• Cross-check cost centers against the cost report to ensure consistency.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and support the Finance Manager as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related fields;
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and tax legislation;
• Familiarity with accounting software (preferably SAGA);
• Minimum experience in accounting (an advantage);
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally in the field of accounting.
